EMERGENCY: Over 10,000 Illegals Apprehended In Rio Grande Valley Last Week – 2,400 In One Day

Published

Last week, the Mexican government said that a caravan with 10,000 migrants would arrive at the U.S. border soon. It’s unclear if this is the massive group the Border Patrol took into custody. The flows are unending and will get worse. Violent cartels are part of the reason we are seeing larger & larger numbers of migrants cross into the U.S. illegally as they are being bused to the border.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection reported today:

Release Date: May 7, 2019

Rio Grande Valley Sector Holding 7,000 in Custody

EDINBURG, Texas – U.S. Border Patrol agents continue to process and receive unprecedented numbers of illegal aliens entering the Rio Grande Valley (RGV) Sector.

On Saturday, agents from Brownsville to Roma apprehended over 2,400 illegal aliens, the majority of which consist of family units and unaccompanied children who readily turn themselves in to agents.

Over the past week, more than 10,000 illegal aliens were apprehended, making it one of the highest weekly total ever experienced in this sector. Currently, stations and processing centers are holding more than 7,000 illegal aliens in custody. At the current rate, the RGV Sector is expected to surpass the mass migration influx experienced in 2014.

RGV Sector Border Patrol agents continue to process unprecedented volumes of mostly family units and unaccompanied alien children arriving illegally between the ports, including 2,400 in a single day and 10,000 in one week within the RGV Sector area of responsibility, from Roma to Brownsville, Texas.

Border Patrol is processing all subjects accordingly. On Saturday, the 40,000-square foot Donna Temporary Facility went operational to assist in holding family units pending transfer to ICE-ERO or HHS-ORR custody.

“We’ve exceeded our capacity and we’re doing all we can to house migrants in a humane place and transfer them in and out in a timely fashion as none of the Border Patrol facilities, including the one in Donna, are meant to be a long term detention centers,” said Chief Rodolfo Karisch.

Supreme Court Turns Away Environmentalists Trying To Stop Border Wall Construction

Another victory for national security & the border wall. This will help us as we continue the construction of our next projects if environmentalists come after us as they did at Project 2.

“The Supreme Court on Monday declined to hear an appeal from a coalition of environmental groups that pushed back against the Trump administration’s construction of the wall along the U.S.-Mexico border.

The groups, led by the Center for Biological Diversity, challenged a 1996 law giving the president authority to fight illegal immigration and border crossings, and limiting some legal challenges.

The coalition claimed that the Trump administration did not conduct sufficient environmental impact studies for the construction and that endangered species like the jaguar and Mexican wolf would be adversely affected by the barrier.

They had asserted in their case that the law’s allowance for the secretary of Homeland Security to waive any laws necessary to allow the quick construction of border fencing violates the Constitution’s separation of powers. The D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals had dismissed the case, citing a prior case from 2007 with “a nearly identical context.”

“This Court finds that precedent persuasive, and it compels the conclusion that Plaintiffs’ complaint fails to state plausible constitutional claims as a matter of law,” the Circuit Court’s ruling said.”

Thank you, to all the freedom fighters out there, both past and present, for your dedication to our country and the sacrifice that comes with defending all that we as citizens hold dear.

Let’s all pitch in to protect the nation and prove to Nancy Pelosi that our safety and sovereignty doesn’t depend on her:
