This is why we need to keep building the wall.

Via U.S. Customs and Border Protection:

“Release Date: July 10, 2019

SAN DIEGO — U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) agents arrested a sexual offender and stopped a maritime smuggling attempt this past weekend.

The first event occurred Saturday at approximately 12:30 a.m. in East County San Diego, when agents spotted a man approximately six miles north of the U.S./Mexico International Boundary. Agents detained the suspect and questioned him. He was identified as a 53-year-old Honduran national who had no documentation that allowed him to legally remain in the U.S. Agents arrested the man and transported him to a nearby station for processing.

At the station, agents ran record checks, which revealed that the man had a criminal conviction out of New Hampshire for Aggravated Felonious Sexual Assault against a child. The man had been sentenced six to twelve years in November 2008 and was removed from the U.S. in November 2015. The man will be processed for illegal re-entry after removal.

The second event began Sunday at approximately 6:40 p.m., when a U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) cutter encountered a pleasure-craft vessel operating near Point Loma, Calif. The Coast Guard cutter intercepted the vessel and observed one visible person on board.

Boarding the vessel, USCG personnel found an additional 12 people. All onboard were suspected of attempting to enter the U.S. illegally and were transported to the USCG base on North Harbor Drive, San Diego. USBP agents then took custody of all 13 individuals.

The maritime group included nine Mexican national males between the ages of 18 and 51 and two Mexican national females, ages 24 and 36. Also present were one male Salvadoran national, age 40, and a 20-year-old female Salvadoran national. All 13 admitted to entering the U.S. illegally and were transported to a nearby Border Patrol station for processing. Out of the 13, one individual faces Federal charges for human-smuggling.”

We Build the Wall, Inc. completed our first section of wall in June. We need more to keep out sexual predators like the one in this article.

Supreme Court Turns Away Environmentalists Trying To Stop Border Wall Construction

Another victory for national security & the border wall. This will help us as we continue the construction of our next projects if environmentalists come after us as they did at Project 2.

“The Supreme Court on Monday declined to hear an appeal from a coalition of environmental groups that pushed back against the Trump administration’s construction of the wall along the U.S.-Mexico border.

The groups, led by the Center for Biological Diversity, challenged a 1996 law giving the president authority to fight illegal immigration and border crossings, and limiting some legal challenges.

The coalition claimed that the Trump administration did not conduct sufficient environmental impact studies for the construction and that endangered species like the jaguar and Mexican wolf would be adversely affected by the barrier.

They had asserted in their case that the law’s allowance for the secretary of Homeland Security to waive any laws necessary to allow the quick construction of border fencing violates the Constitution’s separation of powers. The D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals had dismissed the case, citing a prior case from 2007 with “a nearly identical context.”

“This Court finds that precedent persuasive, and it compels the conclusion that Plaintiffs’ complaint fails to state plausible constitutional claims as a matter of law,” the Circuit Court’s ruling said.”
